Say hello to the Pets of IR-4—featuring Laurel Hsieh’s cat, Loki

A cow-printed kitty who lives up to his name, Loki the cat belongs to Laurel Hsieh, IR-4’s assistant quality assurance coordinator for the Western Region at UC Davis. Some of Loki’s favorite things are “ek-ek-eking” at birds and squirrels that visit his yard, chasing spring toys and chomping Taco Bell lettuce (among other specialty crops, as you can see in his photos). He understands some basic commands like “sit” and “lay down” and “come.” Laurel adopted him in 2019 from the shelter!
